Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament
The left wall of the chapel of the Blessed Sacrament houses the ancient canvasses of the organ portal by Pomponio Amalteo (1555) which represent Jesus driving the merchants from the Temple. The first vault is decorated with a “glory” attributed to Andrea Urbani (19th century).
The marble altar by Domenico Rossi includes angels carrying emblems of the Eucharist and bas-reliefs of the delivery of the keys to Saint Peter and the Emmaus Supper by Giuseppe Torretti.
The Sacrifice of Isaac and the Vision of Isaiah was painted by Giambattista Tiepolo, as well as the singing angels, the praying angel and the angel with thurible in the semi-dome.
He later painted the altarpiece Resurrection of Christ placed above the altar.
