The chapel of Our Lady of Divine Providence contains an altar by Giovanni e Francesco Fosconi (1720), while the base of the altar slab contains reliefs by Giuseppe Torretti of Saints Nicholas and Jerome. The image of the Madonna and Child on display here is a copy from the 15th century Salus populi romani, which is venerated in Rome in the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore (Saint Mary Major).
